Fill the Racks 2011

PROBLEM
Design posters for an annual Safe Routes to School event which appeal to both elementary and Jr. High students and can be used throughout the state of Idaho.

SOLUTION
The client expressed a desire to use professional photography in their advertisements, so I selected these stock images for their depiction of a child around the age of the target audience(s) with a bicycle as the purpose of the event was to encourage students to ride their bike to school and edited them to increase their cohesiveness. In order to further unify the different images, I branded the event using the established title (Fill the Racks) with a bicycle leaned between the double L’s in "fill" to suggest a bike rack. Then I placed it and the secondary information in a simple black box.
